Billionaire after Teesside Airport

Spoiler: says its on a hiding to nothing and he'd use it as a cargo/repair/maintenance hub & stop passenger flights but Lord Airport says this is a vote of confidence in his plan

"Mr Flacks, who is CEO of US-based investment firm Flacks Group which specialises in buying distressed companies"

Cant be after our our airport then, Lord Airport has repeatedly told everyone how well it's doing, what with it's 3 flights to wherever a week, its fancy new scanners, and it's viewing platform.

Looking at this company they have invested in airports in the past. It would make sense for them to use the airport for freight if they get the other site up and running.

They've not got the best record internationally at dealing with airports though.

Cottbus Drewitz closed and the other airport they were interested in is the one that's most famous for being used on the old Top Gear for the drag race.

He wants to buy a 49% stake and have controlling interest. TVCA would own 51% but be a silent partner.
How does that work.
You just know if BentBen is involved it is corrupt.

I think the delta is bens mystery goosepool Ltd owns the 25% stake that Stobart used to hold - that's how they avoid public scrutiny and FOI requests because it's not entirely owned by public bodies

Luckily when stobart exited goosepool was set up and ready to go, almost like they already knew...

It means you can pump some cash in (not having to commit the full amount), try and make a quick buck, then if (when) it all goes t*ts you walk away, and say "nothing to do with me, I was the minority, them lot with the 51% caused it to fail, and they're liable, go after them instead".

Also opens the door very wideley, so you can have a massive influence in selling off or diverting all the good bits, or keeping the good bits yourself, so you get 49% of everything and the other side gets 51% of nothing. Loads of business owners have had the rug pulled from under their feet like this, happens all the time when people are inexperience or naïve. A good example of this is like with Teesport, where Ben/ TVCA either got taken for a ride by Musgrave and Co, or was in on it, either way it's not good. I don't think he's smart enough or experienced enough to be in on it, despite how high his opinion of himself is.
