Best Sunday dinner

It's a classic question but.....

Where would you say did the best Sunday dinner/carvery (apart from your own house).....

I'll start with The Tocketts Mill, Guisborough.

Your house

Joking aside I like a carvery, The Mermaid on the way from Redcar to Saltburn was my last Sunday lunch out and did me a treat

Arncliffe Arms at Glaisdale. Unfortunately quite a few of the staff left very recently and we've not been since. We used to drive past 3 or 4 very nice places because the Arncliffe is/was so good.

Mine. But then again I'm bias. But then again again the numbers we do every Sunday speak for themselves.

Maldon road back in the mid 70's

Dinner was later followed by late tea with trifle & fairy cakes on a two tier cake stand

Sorry, nostalgia got in the way 😢

I was recommended The Three Tuns in Osmotherly by someone on here and that was very good.
The good thing about them they used to serve all day Sunday (not sure post Covid) and they don’t mind you going in in your walking gear, so a good walk followed by a good meal was great.
