Best Steak Teesside area

If you're looking for a decent steak you shouldn't go anywhere near Rio. It's a good night out but the steak is poor to say the least.

Been twice and it was spot on, if they aren’t bringing round the more expensive cuts of meat just ask for them. Best rated on tripadvisor too.

Where would you recommend?

If anybody rates rio as a top steakhouse then they don't really like steak. It's akin to asking for it well done
As for where I'd recommend, I've not really had a top notch steak on teesside. Best was probably Rockcliffe but I don't tend to eat out in Teesside too much

It’s definitely good if you want to try different meats, but it doesn’t top getting your own individual steak.

Depends which mood you are in. Never had a bad experience at Rio been about 4 times

Dudley Arms used to be the best steaks around. Not been for years though.

Apparently they have turned the main bar area into a “cafe”, which sounds a bit schitt

Steaks are excellent, not sure where this cafe bit is.
The place is done out rather nice in my opinion.

Brings back memories of me Mam doing Dale steaks for us. Fat pouring out of them and flaming off in the grill. As tasty as :p
Followed by Butterscotch Angel Delight . wonder if there’s a market for a restaurant with retro 80’s food ( Cod in butter sauce thread ) … some delightfully crap foods going on there. Tinned fray bentos pie anyone ?

Cut N Craft at York served me the finest steak I’d ever had last time i was there 👌🏼 50 minutes or so on the train from Boro - having said that you probably wouldn’t get in as it’s always booked up well ahead
