Best Parmos on Teesside please…?

I grew up on Teesside, and moved away in 1996. My parents still live there, so I’m often up there to visit, and my Wife (not from Teesside) loves a Parmo.

So where’s the best place to go for the best Parmo Teesside has to offer please…?

Thanks in advance.

26 years and just straight into the best parmo on Teesside? Some cheek that like!

I've been sampling the best Teesside can offer for 45 yrs. The best ever The Europa which is sadly closed. The current best for me is The Buck at Great Ayton. Delicious.

I just coughed and accidentally pooped my pants. Not sure if that helps this thread, but I thought I should let someone know. Thank you.

I swore by mr chips in southbank but im told its changed ownership and is now gash .. can anyone confirm?

The Gables in Hemlington usually knock out a decent parmo but havent had one for a while. Ive been getting ours from manjaros lately when theyve had the 2-4-1 ubereats offer on. Chips and salad arent up to much but the parmos themselves are better than most you'll get from a takeaway

Central park redcar used to be nice and reasonably priced for a restaurant

Avoid the chance of being blamed if it’s rubbish and take everyone to wherever started the Mrs’ love for parmo 👍

Have you thought of a Sunday lunch? We’ve not had a thread on that for a while! 🤣

Borge in Stockton is the current 'World Parmo Championship' holder, wins it quite often actually. They are delicious.

Never been to The Buck in Great Ayton but I've heard they're mega.

Aaaaah The Europa... used to love stumbling out of The Cornerhouse and pouring a Parmo all over me in there.

If only the Europa was still open on borough road this argument could be put to bed straight away.
I was a fan of Steve's Rendezvous and Bibi's over the Europa. Never liked Fatsos...I always thought they were a bit too big and a bit too sickly.

And about the only place you could get a takeaway back in the day was the Cypriana Fish Grill on Cumberland Rd. The queues used to be out of the door.
