Best finisher?

Missed a couple of memorable open goals (on his right foot) which might tarnish a few people's view but they were very much the exception to the rule.

He knew when to go for power and when to just pass it into the net.
 
Ravanelli was excellent, but couldn’t really score a goal out of nothing compared to, say, Ricard / Boksic / Viduka… but I guess that’s the point of the thread 😂
 
Can't think beyond Boksic, certainly the most natural finisher I've seen for Boro.

Archer a good shout in recent times, it's been a while since we've had a player, when through 1 on 1 you're pretty certain it's a goal. Lost count of the amount of times I was practically celebrating after his first touch last season :)
 
Interesting question, I’d say Mogga was a good finisher chance wise. But I’d probably say in all my Boro days Ravanelli was our best and Viduka too, Higgy was a decent finisher per chance too
 
Just looked at Mogga’s stats and he did scored 7 goals for us one season, in the third tier.

Interestingly, Steve Bruce scored NINETEEN for Man Utd one season
 
Viduka was a class finisher.
Ravanelli, JFH, Archer, also top drawer finishers.
Nemeth was a much better finisher than player.

Boksic missed lots of chances, often trying to be too clever.
