Haven’t we only seen one side of this story? Once again people make judgments on internet gossip. I’m not saying he is guilty or innocent but I feel as a race, we need to be more informed before we throw someone under the bus.
It's not just him either.
Keep your dog's on a lead whilst on farmland or run the risk of your dog getting shot. Lockdowns made this problem a lot worse, sheep have had to be put down and lambs attacked also by inconsiderate **** wits who don't care about the consequences of not controlling their dog. What they fail to realise is farmers are well within their legal rights to shoot a dog that is bothering livestock.
Truly is mate. When you live up this way and you see the work the local farmers put in up here only to have to put up with **** like this. It’s shocking mate
It happens all the time up here though Sammy. Usually most of the time it's people from the towns and cities who aren't aware of the rules regarding public right of way etc or simply don't care as they are only "visiting".Haven’t we only seen one side of this story? There shouldn't be public rights of way. Freedom to roam, like In Scotland rather than this medieval sh!thole. It happens all the time up here though Sammy. They'll be the first ones to kick up a stink when the farmer shoots dead their dog and doesn't have to pay any vet's fees.
I wondered when this would get picked up. He's been told a few times and the dogs are pretty 'energetic', they need to be kept under control or on a lead until they are past the farm land and into the woods (even then there are loads of deer and hares in the forest). As Ian points out there is a variety of wildlife using the crop as cover (Lapwings are on the red list), he's just making a simple request that the dogs need to be kept under control and out of the crop. Last year I met Bernie in the lane and he asked me had I seen the dogs, I looked out into the field to see 2 heads bobbing up and down as they tore around in the corn. Consider yourself 'informed'.Haven’t we only seen one side of this story? Once again people make judgments on internet gossip.
