BBC 2 Tonight Diamond Anniversary

What a great trip down memory lane it’s been - 60 songs across the last 60 years of BBC 2. Worth catching on Iplayer if you have missed it. From the Smiths, Blur, Sade, etc etc. U2 currently featured.

Watched the first few tracks so far only a few out of the first ten or so I like and flicked through later and there was some right dross on there but will have a look tomorrow when I am not half cut.

There have been some songs I don’t like but some cracking songs too. REM Losing My Religion. What a song.

Thought the Bee Gees were horrendous.
Thin Lizzy were great though.
Also enjoyed Tracy Chapman, Fast car is an incredibly sad song.
