Baked Beans - The truth

The blind tasting test is the preferred method; otherwise, personal preferences may influence the results. There is no mention of Lidyl beans, which are the only ones we consume nowadays.

Mrs F prefers Branson, I prefer Heinz, tried Lidl beans last week and they were almost as good and given the price difference worth it.

At Christmas Heinz did beans with pigs in blankets and they were to die for (or perhaps as a result of) recommended if you can find them

Was always a Heinz man but the cost is that much now it’s a joke.

Tesco are my go to now…. Less than half the price.

Also prefer their beans and sausages… the sausages are delicious

If it’s just beans to go with a breakfast then it has to be Branston. If it’s beans and sausages then Sainsburys are the best, however strangely the plain baked beans Sainsburys do are far too watery and don’t taste anything like the ones in the beans and sausage tins 🤷‍♂️

My 7 year old would agree with you there.

Also quite a high chance of an extra sausage in the Tesco ones.
