We got 16k against palace in between the west brom and Sunderland games.

I remember buying the Gazette special edition which had that photo as it's cover. I was only ever able to go and watch Boro play Liverpool around that time but I'll never forget the feeling of disappointment after being knocked out by Wolves in the replay. Also felt it after Orient in '78!

We beat Barnsley 2-0 so that would make no sense.

Yes, sorry I meant to imply the photo was taken v Barnsley, the gazette was the day of the Wolves cup match on the 7th
