It was a very bad mistake - the Blackburn pitch is often a bit bobbly - Lancashire weather? Too much shade? not great drainage? a keeper needs to allow for a bit of unevenness say by not having your foot too low to the surface.

They are only 3 points above the bottom 3 with the same goal difference as Birmingham and a worse one than Plymouth. Their last two fixtures are Coventry at home and Leicester away. Blackburn are in no way out of the woods yet with two games still to play.
