Away fans

Do you think away fans will be allowed at any point next season or do you think we have some way to go with social distancing and may be looking to the season after next??

My feeling is that we'll have to wait until next season. I'm still uneasy about large gatherings myself.

Yeah, who knows what the new normal looks like? Will masks be a way of life? Or does COVID become the new flu, with a collateral of so many lives a year lost, to ensure normal can be resumed?

If all things work out we will get "good" support in the away end from:

Sheffield United [relegated]
Sheffield Wednesday [avoid the drop]
Hull City [promoted]
Sunlun. [promoted]

Apart from a few gobby Trees an Rams fans, I cant think of any others who usually take up more than half the available space?

When did Hull ever bring a decent following up here ?

The season Nugent scored that beauty on the night match for one and during the Karanka years.
Relative of course.
Compare those four teams to Charlton, Bristol City, Huddersfield, etc, etc.
This video isnt professional, but for a Friday night - thats a goodly few from Hull.

I'm not sure if they'll be allowed immediately, but I'm very confident they'll be back at some point next season.

We should be fully vaccinated by the end of the year, except for children and those who refuse, at some point we'll start returning to a kind of normal.
At the rate we're going, it could well be done with months to spare.

That was the goal where Ben Gibson blocked their centre back off and left it to Nugent ?

If we have to social distance/ space out home fans will there be capacity at most grounds to fit away fans in?

I think if there is capacity/ space it may be welcomed quite quickly but even with a small amount of distancing capacity will be reduced significantly.

According to the Gov’ts road map by the end of June (subject to change) all restrictions are to be lifted.

if everything goes to plan by then the vast majority of the population would have been offered their first vaccine. And a large swathes will have had two.

if you can travel without restrictions to domestic holidays I think you could go to Sheffield and support the Boro
