Anybody going to the match on Saturday I would not go Middlesbrough leisure park way (cineworld /McDonald’s/Pizza Hut) as they lads working they said this will definitely not be finished by Saturday. So it be a very long wait to get though that underpass.

It's been like that the last 2 matches too
It's great the way they dig up 2 different places at the same time to create 2 bottlenecks, rather than do one completely to the finish and then start on the other one afterwards

Realistically if you park at at that car park you might be as well to just wait, the alternative is a much longer diversions back to the train station underpass or down past calverts carpets

Even more tragic if someone sets off a device in the "tunnel" under the railway line - with the sloping entrances and rails obstructing ways in and out.

Same with roadworks. The concept of working 24/7 and finishing jobs has vanished.

@TheLodger can't you make representations to the officer in charge to get contractors to do a temporary reinstatement for Saturday?

I'm surprised the Safety Advisory Group haven't raised it already, has to be a concern for getting people to & from the stadium safely.
