Attendances next season

I think we'll probably average 22-23k, which will still be a healthy average for this level.

Dont see it, would expect a few thousand more but certainly not near full. Its a fairly poor area, people cant be pulling out 30 quid every 2 weeks for championship football.
Agreed.

Local non league football will see more people attending though for sure. Most non league teams round here you can get a pint, a bite to eat, a raffle ticket and entry to the game for £10-£15.

Both Kebano and Bolasie's contract run out this summer, I wouldn't be surprised to see one or both back here next season
Kebano is at Fulham to 2022 he will be back here if Fulham stay up I reckon however if they come down he'll be back in their promotion push

My bad, he does have another year, I agree if they stay up he will be back. If they come down, it's still possible as they will want a squad refresh, he isn't in the managers plans

I think you might be right there. I started going to local non league games when Boro were away with my lad and he enjoyed it more than going to the Riverside.

He’s not bothered about renewing at the Boro and I’m unsure too, the break hasn’t rekindled my interest as much as I thought it would.

I think there might be a slight increase in attendances but certainly not sell outs.

Crowds will be up when restrictions are lifted - 18 months locked up surely boosts crowds just as it will for holidays and concerts. Many people have saved money, more so than people who have lost money. In NW we have a very good manager and there has been a modest investment in the team of late.

I agree there will be a buzz about going to games again but I think there will still be some people reluctant to return initially until they see that it is totally safe.

I think most clubs will see a rise in numbers. Everyone will just want to get out and be able to socialise again.

It wouldn't shock me if we sell over 25K for our first game back (that is of course assuming there's no restrictions on crowds). Warnock deserves a huge reception too. He's taken us from near on relegation to potential play off candidates in the space of a year.

When football returned after ww2 our average went up to 36k (from 21k pre war).
A much bigger gap without footy and a way more traumatic event, but who knows.

The first game back has the potential to be something quite special. Possibly first game of new season. Sun beating down. Everyone in good spirits. The town boozers rammed before hand. Bring it on!

Que one nil down after 5 minutes :)
