If Jimmy comes in for Robinson then they either select Dan Lawrence at 3 which will mean dropping a bowler - Ali? Or they have to find a number 3 from the Headingley 11 which I suspect will be Ali for his spin option

I still feel like Bairstow will come good. The stats are heavily against his performances with the bat when keeping wicket though and they can't be ignored.
I still feel positive when he walks out to bat though for some reason.

I don’t think foakes is the saviour some think he is on here. However talking of future wicketkeepers, the young lad at Somerset, James Rew got a double hundred today.
