Surprises me when I see comments like this. Carrick hasn't achieved anything yet. I may be wrong and they might see his potential but I think a club like West Ham would be looking for a proven manager.

They beat Villa 7-1 in 1935.

Out of the elite teams I have most time and respect for Arsenal. Their promotion in 1919 was dodgy but they have pretty much been a top 10 team ever since, and regularly much better of course. The most consistent team by far.
