If I was a Southampton fan I would be more than a little concerned about letting any strikers go, even if they sign this french lad. He is only 19yo. Surely they would need someone else in before they let experienced players leave.

I wouldn't expect any of the premier League clubs to be letting players go on loan until deadline day when they know what their 25 man squad will look like.

Looking at the Southampton situation they look like they need 2 or 3 strikers as well, so it might be more than just the one they need before loaning AA.
Edit Ooops more or less said above

Totally agree and mentioned this previously, this is when the Championship feeding frenzy will start to get the best loan players.
It's unfortunately a waiting game and in our case needing 2-3 forwards desperately it's not an easy one.
I'd be happy with a good one (No 2/3) in before the WBA game and get two more quality ones before the window shuts.

Yes please

I think there’s something in Armstrong as well as maddo has been v quiet either way and he knows Southampton well. So it’s def a possibility.
He defo bigged Armstrong up as the the main man to go for. (possibly on the back of fan talk regarding Gyokores)
