Expect it to get a lot worse if the government dares to mess with June 21st. I noticed they planted the seeds a few weeks back, and long behold on TV today were fresh calls to postpone it with a “third wave” starting.
After the past few months, people putting up with hell now coupled with lovely weather and a vaccine that supposedly works, any messing with June 21st will lead to riots.

If I was why would I have already had my first shot? Suggest you retract your accusation mate.
Check you out lumping everyone there into the same group of people. I already posted that there was anti vaccine people there amongst others protesting and marching against other things that have cropped up this past year as I've also mentioned.
Continue to gobble up what the BBC tells you. I'll listen to the accounts of people who were actually there.

If it's not safe to open up then why risk another full-blown wave and another few thousand deaths?
When the vaccines were first announced the expectation was herd-immunity by October.
The June date was proposed based on there being no further variants and no other change in the situation.
It's clear that the Indian variant is severe enough to meet the criteria put foward for extending the June 21st opening.
If people are going to get upset then they should be protesting about the fact we knew about the Indian variant and did nothing to prevent it arriving in the UK.

Most of them were anti vax, anti lockdown, anti-mask, anti science, Q - Anon, manipulated by ‘alternative media’ types, who get their ’news’ from Facebook and the like. The kind of people that Hart, Yeadon, Melville, Gupta, Heneghan, Ivor Cummins, GBD crowd etc find so easy to manipulate. The clever part of the ruse is that they manage to manipulate those they are manipulating, into believing they are the ‘enlightened’ ones and it’s the rest of the world who have been manipulated.... they believe they are the only ones who have looked into stuff ‘properly’ and sought out alternative views and ‘the truth’ when the reality is, they’ve gone down the rabbit hole and got stuck.

Which I already stated. Not everybody there was against everything you mentioned all at once. There were plenty who have had at least one dose of the vaccine who were there for example. I personally know two of them for which that was the case who were protesting against vaccine passports.

It’s a tough one isn’t it? It’s a stupid and futile protest and ridiculously timed. However I do think you are correct in that certain protests gets stifled by the MSM in this country. Essentially ones that make the government look bad. A pro Brexit/anti foreigner (which, let’s face it is the same thing) really would get a lot more coverage. It’s almost beyond doubt now that the media is skewed toward the government. See the pages and pages of coverage Nicola Sturgeon got when it was falsely alleged she broke the ministerial code. At the very same time Matt Handjob always in caught being found guilty of braking the ministerial code. This got extremely limited coverage. Those two incidents alone leave me in know doubt the media is heavily manipulated by the government in this country
