Are Anti- Vacc/Anti Mask Protests censored by the main media channels?

There was quite a large Anti Vacc/Anti Mask wearing protest rally at Westfield Shopping Centre in London yesterday and I have not seen any reporting of the event on the main media channels.

I am OK with current restrictions and had my jabs, but just wondered if there is a bit of extra censorship going on in the country at present?
 
I have said this before Redwurzel, but if there is no violence it doesn't make the news. 1 million pensioners marching peacefully in London and 1000 ( climate change activists for example) with a couple attacking the attacking police- which one gets the news?

The rolling thunder of up to a thousand motorbikes a few weeks ago through London without a mention on the BBC. They were demonstrating at the inquiry into IRA killings by the Paras in the 70's.

Was a massive, peaceful march in London yesterday. A few hundred thousand people, lots of videos on twitter of the masses of people in tube stations and on the streets etc.

Government have definitely been involved in asking TV and newspapers to not cover it. Not just this country either.

Says a lot about "impartial" reporting !!!
 
Commercial news stations will ultimately report what gets them viewers and ad revenue. Peaceful protests get very little coverage as they’re so common these days. It’s the violent ones or the popular causes that get more than the minimum coverage. There may be some minor editorial decisions made but it’s not the mass conspiracy some people think it is. I’ve definitely seen some coverage about this though, especially the people wearing star of David anti vax badges.

No such thing in this country anymore. People gobble up everything the TV tells them. News sources from elsewhere are instantly shot down as conspiracy, lies or make believe just because they don't have the likes of Murdoch etc backing them.

On the subject of Murdoch though it's unbelievable that Sky News in Australia isn't afraid to report on ALL stories yet the UK version manipulates everything.

A mix of different groups of people, those against the vaccine, those against vaccine passports, those against lockdowns, those against the Tories, those against restrictions.

The large media corporations will label them all anti vaxers though.

Peaceful protests get very little coverage as they’re so common these days.
How do we know this? What I mean is how do we know a peaceful march has even taken place if there has been no coverage?

Maybe they should have smashed a few windows- it seems to be the only way to get noticed.

Commercial news stations, like the press, are political bodies. They're not going to advertise (promote) anything to upset the status quo, their livelihood.
 
The BBC had nothing about the march in Shepherds Bush/Westfield and I looked on BBC London web site - they have offices 200 metres from the protest!

There was some trouble as the Police blocked people protesting coming into the shopping centre.

When the anti-Brexit rallies were on a few years ago, it was always on the BBC news.
 
Of course this won’t get publicity - it’s not beneficial for the government or the current goings on. They need everyone fully compliant

My feelings is that the main media outlets have decided privately that anti-vaccers and anti mask people are deluded flat earthers. The main media are also frightened of been blamed in any way by Government and the Public for Covid spreading and the low risk strategy to them is follow what the Government says. What surprises me is that no one in the media wants to have a debate. The only official debate is should we open up more on June 22nd.

Why report stupid people gatering?

marching against the vaccine passport which doesn’t exist.

marching against lockdowns, after freely travelling from all corners of the country, having a bite to eat in the big smoke, walking freely through the capital, then entering an open shopping centre.........something tells me lockdown isn’t the issue.

the did force shops to shut in Westfield.

The same people will be mainly anti vax, anti mask, Qanon believing etc etc
