I go to at least gig a week and have seen a few Tribute acts and with the cost of the big bands costing £50 to £80, I understand why tribute acts are popular to see live music.
Counterfest is Stockton in always popular, also some Tribute bands are highly recommend by the original artists( The southmartins which are are great nigh out).
Also anyone who has seen one of the greatest Tribute acts Elvanna ( Elvis impersonator singing Nirvana ) cannot help but leaving the gig with a huge smile on their face.
