Press are linking Liverpool to 17 year old Archie Gray from Leeds who could cost £40 million. He has only played 14 first team games yet we get rumours about Hackney at the very most £20 million.

Do we just get took to the cleaners with our mentality?

With some of the dinosaurs we've had in charge I doubt that Hackney would have been allowed to break into the team at 17 even if he was good enough. I think Carrick would start to get that age of player into this squad though. There have been a few of the youth team making the bench since the season started which is a massive positive for me. If we had Casillas at Boro he would be out on loan until he was 25
