I think rhey have the option to tie him into another 12 months don't they?

So 18 months left on his contract, so I can't see anyone offering decent money for him in January and certainly nothing near that price!
 
That's probably the point.

Don't blame them, if you have an option, why sell a solid striker on the cheap.
 
They are perfectly entitled to ask for whatever they feel he is worth, however, he wont sign a new contract unless they increase their offer, so they will pi$$ him off and he'll walk for nowt in 18 months.

Not worth anywhere near that amount, had one good season in his entire career and that was in league one. He looks a good player but you would want someone far more proven for that amount
 
Ten million is not a complete blowout, it's more a figure they they know we could afford if we really want him, we find out in 6 weeks or less.
 
I can’t see him going anywhere in January unless they get a crazy offer. Maybe in the summer for 5 or 6M if he still doesn’t sign a new contract and carries on scoring. Good player who has developed late. However similar to Chuba, maybe runs the channels more.
