Apparently Simms is being recalled

Premier League clubs have the money.
Cov arent a well off team and have done well, but hes only scored as many as Chuba. Otherwise Cov would be sunk.

It'll be interesting to see how well he does without O'Hare setting them up, heard that O'Hare has done his ACL, so that's an enormous blow for Coventry

Simms has done well and developing well. As above, don’t think he is ready yet for the premier league, but Everton are really struggling, so need all the help they can. Big loss for Sunderland and they will struggle to replace him. He would have been a bargain in the summer but worth at least a couple of million now.

I’ve heard the rumour that Gyorkores has a big sell-on clause to his last Club. This being a large reason for Cov asking for such a large fee when we last enquired?
Anyone know if this is true?????

Fortunately Wolves have three decent enough left backs already in Al Nouri, Bueno and Vinagre.
Let's buy Giles then 😉

Jokes aside he's been on loan for 18 months. You have to question just how much they 'rate' him. Although clever getting him to pen a new deal.

Vardy is the exception.
If Gyokeres offered anything in the Premier League there would have been clubs sniffing after him.....
Really? What about Andy Robertson, Callum Wilson, John Stones, Mahrez, Ivan Toney, Kevin Phillips? Theyre just off the top my head, I'm sure theres loads more who like them played at championship or lower then went on to be very successful in the Premier league.
Chris Wood, Danny Ings, Ollie Watkins, Neil Maupay, Mbuemo, Antonio, Benrahma, Bowen, Jack Harrison, Kiefer Moore, James Maddison, Eze, Tav, Bamford etc etc

Those are just forwards / attacking mids.

I’d imagine the list of holding mids and defenders is even more extensive.

The January transfer window.........

Simms recalled by Everton

Everton have taken the decision to recall Ellis Simms from his loan spell with Sunderland.
Frank Lampard revealed at his Friday press conference the Blues were considering bringing the 21-year-old back to Goodison Park in a bid to bolster attacking options, made possible by a clause in his contract enabling Everton to cut short his stay on Tyneside.*

*"Tyneside"?
Going back to Severnside.

Everton getting linked with Gyorkes seemed strange to me whilst they had Simms out on loan
My worry is
Everton have been told Gyokeres is not for sale ,
Will they now turn to Akpom as an option ?
If so , we need Simms as part of the deal .
No inside info , but all the lower premier league clubs want an inform striker , and Chuba is the best so there will be interest.

Chuba is in to a winner here.. his best bet is to design a nee and improved contract with us.

Chuba is a player who thrives on “ being loved”. This could be enough to sway him to the seasons end. Who knows? What is apparent is the current crop of players genuinely appear to really like playing for us. Great to see
