Anyone saying it's not on Carrick

Well my reasoning is that I think stability is a better approach than instability during these kind of times.

It’s highly subjective but I am a bigger fan of changing manager when you are fighting relegation and just a few wins are needed. We need someone who’s going to string a few wins together and Carrick has proven he can do that with this squad. More so than anyone else we could get in.

There is coaches out there that could make us a better defensive unit but also still threatening and who would
Get better results. Of that I have no doubt. The risk we have in not making a change is many more days like these where we are sat scratching our heads after defensive howlers costing us. We can't score 4 every game.

We have scored 2 goals at home tonight and lost a football match. It is simply not good enough.

He sets them up to play this way ffs! He selects Edmundson over Fry! He doesn't give cover to his full backs. He asks poor footballers to play out from the back. Come on! Wake up the lot of you. It all stems from the manager
Fry was woeful last game, he's not the answer either.

You were shouting how good Burgzorg is earlier, another who isn't up to it. So indisciplined it's untrue.

Not isn’t. Mowbray improved us after Strachan. Karanka improved us after Mowbray. Pulis took us into the playoffs after Monk underwhelmed. Warnock turned the ship around after the disastrous Woodgate experiment. Wilder had us flying for 6 months after Warnock. Carrick took us from bottom 3 to 4th.

The next coach needs to build on what Carrick leaves behind, and what the club has done off the field. We are hugely underachieving this season. There is no way on earth this collection of players cannot be organised more effectively than this.

The biggest worry is that Edmundson is in for Clarke and we’re a centre back light. We’ve weakened ourselves at the back. It feels inexplicable to have done that to ourselves.
Some of those improved us temporarily, yes. It doesn’t always happen though. Woodgate didn’t improve us, Strachan didn’t, Agnew didn’t. Monk didn’t. Southgate didn’t. It works the other way too.

Burgzorg is one player who gives his all and has scored some goals of quality. He's far from perfect but he's not a problem
Right now. With better coaching and in a better framework I believe he could be a handful

Whatever is posted here Carrick will be here until the play offs are impossible this season.
At that stage his position will be untenable.

I don’t believe he can organise or motivate/ inspire.
Our squad is brittle, lacks backbone, edge and character.
There are so many consistent flaws. I don’t know whether it’s complacency or incompetence, but we are the exact opposite of what makes a successful team. Their whole is greater than the sum of their parts. Ours is the exact opposite. We may not have a world beating squad, but it should win more and lose less in a poor Championship.

I share the view that Carrick should go.
But am reconciled that it won’t be for a few weeks yet.

Listen let's be all honest here Steve Gibson is not going to get shot of Carrick after he has sanctioned these transfers. I'm upset at losing or drawing games at home when scoring 2 or 3 goals no one else in the league does that! Hard work on the training ground and not putting balls knee height at the likes of Morris Burgzorg Hackney in silly positions is the reason we lose possession and concede silly goals. Burnley have conceded 9 goals in 30 games we do that in 3 or 4 games it's not right is it.

No one would argue it’s good enough. I just don’t think we have a good track record of managerial appointments over the past decade, hence why we are where are now. The last, fairly rubbish, 16 years aren’t all on Carrick. So I’d be happy to at least give him 3 more months to try and pull a rabbit out of the hat, which is what promotion will always be for this club under the current setup.

I just think we should make the change now. It would be bold but I think the correct thing to do. I think fresh eyes and someone with a bit of nous gets more out of this group.

I also think it will not happen and he will be here until the summer.

Nothing against Carrick as a man and for a while I've enjoyed him as Boro manager but it feels like it's run its course. I can't go to or watch matches hoping we have to score 4 every game to think we have a chance of a win. It's just not realistic

We’ve had lots of poor managers over the last few years mate. Why will the next one be any better? It’s a coin toss.
If you had a car that was knackered would you keep it just in case the new one you bought to replace it was also knackered, of course not !

How many consecutive wins have we had this season ?

Give over. He wanted to sign Edmundson. He played Edmundson over Fry. A horrific decision.

Le Fee tore Ayling a new ****. He's got to find ways to prevent teams absolutely roasting our defenders game in, game out.

The manager is a big, big problem. It's time for some fans to accept it
Why don't you just come out and say it, you are missing Clarke. 🤣🤣🤣
