Off up to the 'toon on Friday night to see Hawkwind. Fancy a curry beforehand, anyone know anywhere good in the city ? Google is telling me one called Simla

We went to Ayla on Grey Street and that was really good.

The first ever single I bought was silver machine.
I had no idea what the song was like, just attracted by the name, and it was in the bargain bucket in Binns.
Turned to be a decent single though

Dont go anywhere near Pudding Chare Indian, I've seen more rats kicking about the area than I can count.
I've heard very good things about Karma Kitchen on the Bigg Market. From vegans admittedly, but they're the sort of people who will complain quickly if anything's out of place. I'm not vegetarian any more, but have no prejudice against it. I often really like veggie and vegan cookery.

Had meals post gigs at Latif which is not far from station and about a week ago went to Rasika Indian Restaurant which is down towards Quayside. Both good but the King Prawn Puri from Rasika was superb. Expensive but superb.

Another shout for Latif, lived round the corner for a few years and was always good.
Khai Khai on the Quayside also excellent.

My brother in law was just telling me about this place on Saturday, he said it was fantastic but you have to book weeks in advance.
