Anyone done or fancy doing a Bridge Bungee Jump off The Transporter?

The Transporter Bridge bungee jump was originally started by the Brian Clough statue organisers contacting a group that could put this in place and getting all the paperwork sorted out.
It has ended up as a second legacy as well as a statue to Cloughie in Stewart Park

It looks a good challenge(y)
I know some guys still trying to arrange a jump for the Bradley Lowery Foundation.

It's something I've always wanted to do. Done the zipslide, done the parachute (both static line and tandem). I'd certainly be interested.

I was there that day, I remember his sister & other sat on the bench opposite the bridge

One lovely Sunday morning in 2012 I videoed my barber & a party of 20 people bungy jumping off the tranny, all for charity

Before the group of lads & lasses jumped this girl, who wasn't in the party, was the 1st one that day, her boyfriend had paid as birthday present, she was so calm

The 1st one I'd seen up so close, I was brevous

When the group started to jump I got 10 video shots from the angle showing them jumping off & then 10 right behind with a great view of the river

Each person who was ready to jump was told by the instructor to just dive towards the towers, which everyone done so well

I have to say there was a girl in the group who after having the harness on & ready to jump then changed her mind & stood down, only to change her mind after another 3 people had jumped & decided to take the plunge, I had so much respect for her, the courage she showed after at 1st been to frightened & no I couldn't do it

At the end when they all jumped the instructor asked if I wanted to jump for free, since I'd been up there a good few hours, I declined saying thanks but I was happy using the steps

I watched one Sunday morning a group of brave souls doing jumps from the bridge in aid of charity.
It struck me that we could get a team together to ave a go when this lock-down lark is over [and its a bit warmer]?

If Dale Fry had needed 3 stitches rather than 2 you would never be able to climb up for a bungy jump due to the queues of posters on here throwing themselves off in disgust.

Do you think they mistook centimetres for feet & inches when they measured the bungy rope?
