First lot made was a bit too salty... nice though.
Made some up last night and I'd put too much fennel in the seasoning.

Me and the wife had a go once...had the machine,bought proper casings and spices online and had a go......there was sausage meat all over the bleeding kitchen after about 2 minuets......managed to make 3 sausages but howled with laughter which was worth the effort.....i put everythng on my mates car boot after that.....lovely sausages at ruswarp butchers
You have to put quite a bit of salt in, otherwise they won't taste of anything. I put herbs in last time and overdid it a bit. Green sausages, yum yum.
I started 'making' my own 'sausage' fairly regularly when I was about ten or eleven and that carried on in to my early teens until I got my first girlfriend. I've probably misunderstood this thread, haven't I?
