Thankfully there are few of these stalkers on here than there were on COB. Which is why I find it odd when I come across one. I'm talking about Nobby BTW. Randy, although a bit weird, hasn't exhibited any strange behaviour before today. It is odd he modified his beliefs just to have an argument though.

Why do people turn into bell ends when anyone mentions a nice car? Just curious.

not that into cars myself and happy to drive a ten year old focus that costs me nowt to run, but don’t care if people spend money on a car they want, yet noticed it in several threads on here and it happens on HUKD car deal threads as well.

whatever your feelings about OP is, it’s a perfectly valid question and the responses are childish. If the OP lives rent free in your heads to such an extent then I suggest you use the ignore function as that’s why it’s there.
 
Have I missed something, why is everyone ragging their cars? The only cars I ever rag are rental cars. Just saying.

I hope your new motor arrives safe and on time, I love a new motor me.

I dont think anyone is invalidating the OP, I'm just commenting on the tone used in this and most other posts. He is constantly having little run ins with people so I just asked if he had considered why. His response is exactly as I imagined it would be. Sometimes a little humility goes a long way. The responses from others aren't necessarily childish, they're just taking the P which is what the OP sets himself up for. Every time

I just think it's sad that people feel the need to be upset about things like that. i also genuinely get upset when someone is upset and chose to call me a liar. It happened on COB but those people are just horrible and nasty. When it happens on here it upsets me as I've never lied. I guarantee we'll never find out what specific lie Nobby seems so upset about because there isn't one. Randy: I get why he's upset because I have been having a go at him when he posts his crazy tweets.

Anyway back to the OP.

It seems ships crew are exempt, so hopefully the car will arrive when expected. This is good news.

Thanks for this. This was the entire point that Nobby wasn't understanding and seemed to think I was lying about!

I must admit I will rag my car a little bit when I get it. You don't buy a car with the word "Performance" in the name not to try that out.

Most of the time though, I'll have the acceleration set to chill mode (yes, it does have a "chill" mode. A little childish so we'll just call it "normal" from now on) and just drive normally!
 
The shipping industry is, broadly speaking, operating as normal - you should ask your shipping agent / freight forwarder though to be certain.

No idea who they are. My car is being ship by Tesla, who are notoriously bad at providing information as to their supply chain. Although I did manage to find out what ship my car is on, so I can just track that and see if it is delayed. It's currently mid Atlantic so it'll be a while anyway.

What are you on about. I'm quite happy living in this first world country.

As for shipping I imagine docks and companies will have protocols in place to help stop the transmission of the virus. You may experience a small delay but nothing major to worry about.

Unless the sea dries up.
 
Work for one of the big courier firms. We still got parcels from Europe during lockdown. Only problem we had was with the region in Italy who had full lockdown with no parcel movement.
