Anyone heard of what plans we have?
I always feel like we miss a trick in pre-season, last couple if I remember rightly have been a training camp in Portugal and games behind closed doors.
As oppose to Sunderland’s approach for example, they announced in early March they were going to Spain and have gave plenty of notice of the locations and fixture dates, allowing their fans to potentially incorporate being at a pre-season in with their summer holiday.
Many of our fans didn’t get to experience the UEFA cup run due to their age, so stuff like this could be the only chance they get to see Boro play a game on the continent.
Be nice to have a few games abroad fans can go to as oppose to just the usual Hartlepool, York, Bradford, etc, followed by a French / Spanish team at home.
