Another day, another variant

The 'double mutant' from the Indian variant wasn't scary enough, so now it's a 'triple mutation'.

I can't see the public buying this sh*t anymore. Have you ever noticed that after there has been good news i.e. an approved vaccine, lifting of restrictions, milestones in vaccinations/low deaths/cases, positive vaccine efficacy stats, out pops another variant?

There must be thousands of them out there, and are we the only country in the world that is 'reporting' them as if it's a whole new virus that will undo all the work of the vaccines and kill thousands more people? The media, and in particular the BBC, have got a lot to answer for in trying to scare people.

we have the best labs and test the most samples. i did see a list a while back where we had sequenced over 200k samples, some other countries had done 0.

this variant will now be known as the "ey up cup o tea" variant

They are reporting news, these things are happening and thats a fact. We cant just not report it because it will scare people or people dont want to hear about it.
The longer we take to vaccinate the majority of the world, the more chance other variants will continue to be created

Eh?

I tried clicking on "Change your nation" but there didn't appear to be a "become a democratic republic" option...
BBC acting as a mouth piece for the conservative status quo again by giving the royal family direct and unregulated access to spout their propaganda.

The whole idea that it was the BBC that put stress on Diana-Charles marriage on not his persistent infidelity stretches credulity.

It’s ok because Heathrow are creating a dedicated area for flights in from red list countries, that’s a great bit of strategic thinking - wayhay we’re all saved 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Charles behaviour certainly created stress but you've missed the point about what she was told by Bashir.
