Another Brexit failure

To be honest @SmallTown I think you’re giving him too much credit. I suspect deep down he knows he’s dropped a *******, he knows that Brexit has been and will always be a complete disaster but hides that behind what I’m sure he think is comedy gold. To be pitied and ignored.
It is funny. Strange mentality to sit and wallow and think things will always be the same as they are now. I thought you and SmallTowns ramblings were to influence the next general election. But the delusion in that thought is a factor of thousands greater than any perceived thought that Brexiteers are deluded. This is the Boro message board not the The Sun or Daily Mirror , Guardian , Telegraph editorial. Why not gather all your thoughts together and send an editorial proposal to one of those main stream newspapers instead of bleating incessantly between the latest Boro transfer rumours. Even Boro legend makes a better contribution on the board.

Really? We have a Tory government that is supposed to steer us through these choppy waters.

Now we know buying the vaccines was only a very small part of the solution it’s time for you Tories to face up to the damage caused by Brexit.
Yes really - check out the latest commodity prices of lumber copper etc. But I would be very surprised if you would know where to find such capitalist data.

In fairness to you it’s not like you to be rude when posting, have you been drinking?
Im always rude and abrasive. but in this case I didn't thinks so. Just making the point that those on the far left mostly disregard the real world of commodity prices. Much more convenient to blabe rising prices on Brexit as that fits better

You are ok, there are worse than you on here from the far right.

I blame you Tories for everything these days.

I’ve learnt from you…..

Fkn great this Brexit?
Yes I watched this bloke. The problem with him is he has under invested in his business for decades. Instead he has just taken the easy option of bringing in cheap east European labour.
Reminds me of potato picking days many decades ago. Tate the farmer used to bring us kids in. I think it was probably child labour but the parallels are there. At the end of the day he would line us up and decide what he would pay each of us. One pound for the day. Or some of us he would pay nothing as he judged they were not worth the pound. He would also tell some kids not to bother turning up the next day.
Im sure similar practices have been going on with the eastern Europeans

Anyway this bloke does not have the balls to invest in machines that can do the job. Or even better pay rates that would attract home workers to do the job.

Don't know why you think Im a Tory. If Labour had some MPs that were fit for government I would happily vote for them. Might be a long time though.
I am as shocked and disgusted more than you Marxists at the level of corruption and incompetence of the current government

That’s good to hear, but in amongst all that lot I’m sure you would agree that it would be good if the Tories had some MPs who were fit for government as well.

Well they do. and its clear there are some that are not. I like Andrew Bridgen. Not all what he thinks but at least he is a rare and dying breed of conviction politician.
Its not a simple case of Tory = Bad and Labour = good.

Andrew Brigden ? The mans a complete tool....some folk set their bar very very low, if thats the best you can come up with..conviction politician ....ffs give us a break

Oh no. Someone really mentioned Brigden as a good MP?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

I'm sorry, but I nearly spat out my coffee when I read that you'd labelled Bridgen a conviction politician!

Do you know any ?
I think there's less and less, but it's a label that's often misused anyway.

Most politicians views these days are dictated by the desire to selfishly further their political career, rather than any 'political conviction'.

And having political conviction isn't exclusively a good thing; Thatcher was considered a conviction politician, which was a very bad thing for the UK. She didn't believe that such a thing as society existed and, in essence, it was every man and woman for themselves.

Ironically Corbyn is the most obvious example of a modern conviction politician. There's a few that still exist, but tellingly they tend to be left-leaning, to a larger or lesser degree.
