Agreed, she was less concerned with what was the latest "thing" and more in promoting "good music". We are the poorer for her passing. RIP.

She taught me to be open to anything in music, from Murray Head to Shy FX. I remember the manager of The Chemical Brothers being shocked when I name checked him in a request on her Sunday evening show.
