Andrew Gwynne MP

It's not bias, it’s something you don't agree with. They're two different things.
How do you know I don’t agree with it ??
You don’t.
I have no political opinion either way. If you’d read what I have posted on here in the past then you’d see which way I lean.
They are all as bad as each other. Power corrupts.

I really do not think it good enough that he is sacked. His non apology adds to the saga, he hasn’t taken proper ownership or remorse. He should be barred from public office for good

From what I have seen reported it was deeply offensive, personalised, hate speech, he should be investigated by the police too. Sickening from someone in high office. Politicians never seem to be held accountable in law to the standards ordinary folk are.

Racist, sexist, ageist, antisemitic comments.
I think he must have been going for a full house.

Its very weird to me that these MPs and councillors would make comments like that in what effectively seems to be a work group-chat. Do they not have any foresight that someone may end up leaking how awful they are?

Also the idea that someone would become an MP and then be so riled up about a constituent having some kind of problem with their bin collection? Surely thats bread and butter to them. Not even to them really, sounds like a thing their constituency office would just very easily resolve.

If what has been reported is true, he should be prosecuted. Cant see much difference between his posts and what was being prosecuted after the riots.
Do people not know what WhatsApp is or something?

There's a world of difference from putting something on publically visible social media and comments made to a private group in WhatsApp.

Don't get me wrong, he's clearly a grade A bellend and should be sacked.

Understand that its a private group, but given that it appears to be populated by MPs, councillors, and local activists the comments are very odd aren't they? It's effectively a group chat with colleagues from work.
