There is no way their egos would allow either of them to lose any sort of match, so it's just a marketing exercise for the car-crashes of metaverse and twitter.

What? All I am trying to say is that the story is the fact that two well known people want to fanny about in a cage.
I remember when Robbie Williams wanted to fight Liam Gallagher - that also got headlines.
And also when Ricky Gervais got in the boxing ring with Bob Mortimer (ok, for charity that time).
It would still be a story if all was good in the world. I just can't see the link between the two things.

Gervais' big fight was against Anthea Turner's husband, a bit of a grudge match I think.
But I thought I'd also seen footage of him fighting Bob Mortimer as well.
Bob also fought Les Dennis.
