And more dead sea life

This quite literally stinks.

No dead crustacean wash ups on beaches North of the Tees. Longshore drift on the NE coast is North to South.
Problem seems to originate opposite Teesmouth. Perhaps it's just a coincidence. No I don't buy that either.

I'm not altogether buying the stormy weather/ high tides either. These normally result in a lot of seaweed wash-up, and there appears to be little. It's like they are telling us that all of a sudden the shellfish between Hartlepool and Saltbun can't swim in stormy seas.

Huge cover up imo. These b need a total rinsing for it.

Looking forward to the Yorkshire Post getting stuck in and lifting the drains on this. Most of the local press seem kowtowed when it comes to anything with Houchen, Preston or Clark involvement.

The same thing happened when stormed Emma hit.

That's a fair point but what we have now looks like localised occurrences. No problems reported elswhere along the coast, so far as I can see.

I mentioned in my earlier post that I hope it is natural rather than man made but I wouldn't rule it out that this disaster is the consequence of the dredging of the free port.

Clarke is absolutely losing the plot on Twitter, he can't help but continue to dig that hole.

Meanwhile, Ben Houchen is apparently doing a talk in... Doncaster, and promoting tickets that cost almost £30(!)
