I'm not suggesting that everybody believes everything they ever read, but that propaganda requires a critical mass of (willing) believers to have it's desired effect. Everything in my post about Johnson is true. He did all of those things and more. However, two years after Corbyn stood down there is still a concerted effort to paint him as the pro Putin guy when in actual fact he was one of - if not the - earliest opponents. He was warning us about Putin in 2000 and 2001 when Blair was bringing him over here to meet the Queen.Wrong, they both are wrong ‘un‘s as far as political leadership goes I’d suggest.
As for the rest of that, you will no doubt find some tories repeating the same narrative about Johnson and negative propaganda. People interpret the evidence and spin it to what suits them and their personal beliefs.
To suggest people believe everything that they read, hear and see of what one man or a group call propaganda, is simply nonsense too, a few might but not all. Same with all the idiots calling brexiteer‘s as racist or thick or easily manipulated. Anything that doesn’t suit another's views follows that same route. A leader that does not answer questions and evades them is not to be trusted (see Johnson too)
February 2000: Jeremy Corbyn protests against Putin's brutal war in Chechnya:-
March 2000: Tony Blair praises Putin as an impressive man with a clear vision:-

If you asked the man in the street who was the Kremlin stooge I wonder what the result would be?
