Texas is currently arguing the same thing, whilst simultaneously arguing that a fetus has no legal rights when they kill one within the prison system.

I mean, I do understand that if someone harms an unborn baby there should be a consequence (if appropriate), but frozen embryos accidentally being dropped is an unlawful killing of children? Seems fairly mad to me.
 
The next step will be someone getting kicked in the nuts and claiming murder due to damage to his sperm cells in the good old You Ess of Hay.

Surely an embryo doesn't become an unborn child until after the 10th week of a pregnancy.
