Also in Boro....

Rubbish, he was always banging the drum for his own publicity.
You not being aware of it doesn't make it rubbish, just that you are not aware of it. He also does a shift with the litter picking teams around Middlesbrough, cleaning the place up and making it look better. As for BoHo, that is providing office and living space for people in the digital & creative industries in order to keep the jobs and the graduates living and working on Teesside. So far it has been successful and every building they erect soon fills up. That's why they keep building more. Boho preceded Preston's mayoralty but it's his job to talk it up and publicise it. Afterall he is the elected Mayor

I am going to sound like Rob here. But it's a great place to live. I have had the chance to live all over Spain, London, never once did I want to.
I can't think of ever not feeling safe, I go watch the Boro every week and win every few months.

I had a great career here as did my wife and eldest son is on his to being successful in his business.

There are poor parts of the town, not as bad as some parts of Manchester, Liverpool and Tower Hamlets, but that's as it goes.

You forgot to say, as well as the mayor, he is also a property developer and small business speculator, indeed it's in his business interest to do all of the above.
