Alone - Channel 4

Watched the first episode of this, quite like it - think it could be interesting to see how they get on.

In a nutshell, 10 people left in the Canadian wilderness to 'survive' solo - last man standing wins £100k. I think they can take a few survival tools and a handheld camera.

Some nuggets on there as you'd expect

Watched the first episode. Particularly liked the self assured 'outdoors king' who subsequently hacked his own leg with an axe building a shelter and had to be the first to quit.

That was who I was thinking of - "I've worked with tools all of my life" 😂

There are numerous series of Alone (Alaska, Mongolia,Canada, etc) on the History Channel and although it is poor it becomes addictive and must watch. Watching some of these characters slowly brake down is hard at times.

'characters' = people out of their depth with no common sense and half a brain cell?

I’d watch these type of shows if they were in real time.

They wouldn’t broadcast them if they knew something went wrong/it didn’t all go to plan and everyone made it home safe and sound.

Sounds quite bad now I’ve read that back 😂
