The closest thing I have got to a local derby is coming up in less than a week.

For the last 2 home matches (plus the one this coming Wednesday) the owner has allowed locals to take part in a free raffle.

Guess the correct score to get a chance to win 5000 euros.

If he does it again for Sunday I will be going for 2-1. Same score I have guessed so far for each match. Still to guess a correct score.

Maybe we can get a win and I can win 5000 euros on Sunday. Fingers crossed.

Fingers crossed for your 2-1 to come up mate ....... but not this week ;) Shame still no fans, but hopefully for the return match ?

We're in the surreal position of being just about unbeatable away, but can't do anything at home (I exaggerate slightly, but that's the trend)

However, with the state of the club's finances and a completely new team of young kids and one or two older journeymen, to be sitting in striking distance of a play off place in December is stunning. Under no illusions of it lasting, but avoiding relegation this season and building from there was the stated aim of the judge running the club, so it's a bonus. Looks like our dodgy owner's grip is gradually loosening as well, so all good

Edit - interestingly, even though you tagged me in your post, I didn't get a notification - just happened to be browsing the forum

They’ll be dancing on the streets with the Cartojal!!
Far too sweet for my taste

Watching all the blokes in the large beer tents they put up on the Plaza de la Constitución during the Malaga Feria, necking half litre glasses of Victoria Beer with Cartojal chasers is a sight to behold though - start at 10:00 and finish when they're comatose a number of hours later

I was there for a cartajol festival - didn’t know till we arrived. Loved it. Great fun.

@spanishman

Nope - not notified again - let me check my settings

Edit - yep the "get an alert when someone mentions you in a message" box is ticked

Strange

Edit Edit - @spanishman - the notifications have been received and are under the bell symbol at the top, but nothing to tell me that they're there i.e. the bell not highlighted (if you get my drift !)
