All to play for still

It's remarkable that having taken just 1 point from the last 12 and not scored a single goal we still have any chance. It's technically still in our own hands but we might have to win all our remaining games and outscore Sheff U by at least 3 goals.

I worry about Swansea, they are in good form so that's a really difficult game. The others are definitely 'winnable' but so was Hull. Oh yes and there's the small matter of being able to put the ball in the back of the net often enough or even at all. Apart from that Playoffs here we come!
I can't see it myself either but Sheff Utd are catchable because their form isn't good either.

Is that 6 games without an away win, with few goals scored?

Millwall could get the 6th spot, it's still wide open.

Positive from today was Daniels he just looked solid.

It was disheartening to see us completely without ideas how to score. They played just like Hull did and we were abysmal at breaking them down.

Jordan Rhodes would walk into our team at the moment.

It would be a massive surprise if we were in contention for the play offs going into the Preston game.

Of course we did. They ripped us on the breakaway but the game was played in their half, they were organised and defended well, we had the vast majority of the ball but failed around the box.
Naaaaah CtC. The game was played in their half because that was their plan. That was how they thought they could beat us. They kept us out of their box easily. They were well organised. We had most of the possession because they had no need to challenge for the ball, their marking and covering was very good, their breakaways were fast and our defenders were caught out on several occasions. We offered very little threat and what threat we did show was easily nullified. No Coraigh, we got what we deserved.

Nothing to do with the cup games and we don't look leggy. We dominated the game today, just didn't get the midfielders into the box in support as we did earlier, they overplayed rather than give and go.
We shouldn’t mistake the high possession stats with dominance. Teams just let us p155 about with it, side to side, then backwards. I guarantee you that Huddersfield will not have left the game feeling that they’d been dominated.

LETS GO!!!!

Not much in it still, four games left and three wins could well be enough for a play off finish.
I’m normally 100% with you CtC, but came away today thinking that’s it for this season. I make a rule of never criticising or being negative about the team or manager before the season’s over, but in this case I don’t think it’s a criticism to say we just missed out. A few weeks ago I thought we had it too.

10 points could be enough. It would leave us finishing with 73 points.

Sheff Utd play Fulham on the final day, so let's say they win their next two and get beat by Fulham, that would leave them on 72 points.

Millwall play Bournemouth on the final day, so winning their next two and losing to Bournemouth would leave them on 71.

To be honest 9 points might even be enough if we end up with a better GD.
