Cinematic masterpiece. Highly recommended although it could of probably been 20/25 minutes shorter. It does seem a theme that film makers insist a film has to be over a certain length for it to be a success, that said i'd be happy to watch it again in a few months.

Was decent , as a WW1 obsessive it was ok but did not capture the terror of the B/W original but fair play if it brings the madness of doing repeatedly what never worked , to a new generation , job done

I found this scene with the tanks pretty terrifying. Lord only knows how it must have actually been for the guys in the trenches then. At least we know now what a tank is.

times move on & the cinematography etc enhance , which is no bad thing , maybe its me & BW films are of their time
