All homeless in England to be housed

They were interviewing homeless people from Manchester last oight on TV. Many of the addicts don't actaully want to be housed. It's not as straightforward as people would lead you to believe.
I heard a report the other day.A homeless guy was offered accommodation but he said he was a recovering drug addict and the place he was offered was full of drug users and others who intimidated him.He felt safer on the streets. So sad.

many homeless just want to be out in the open — free to do as they please and not be part of the system. Governments essentially are to blame but you could also blame society itself as being the disease which caused the human demise. The Homeless in Los Angeles for instance insist in being free to decide on everything that affects them. They (the homeless) have powerful lawyers who ensure that the homeless have protected rights that ensure that they collected their free money, free food and healthcare— all bought and paid for by the working class.

Any progressive politician worth their salt should be well able to formulate policies that will begin to address the wage and wealth gaps that have increased over the past years, the need for a robust and fair social safety net for everyone who may or may not ever need it and also a fair and equitable taxation system to pay for it.
It is not beyond possibility that this virus could become a seasonal threat and with the aggressive nature of its transmission we could well be playing a life and death game of whack-a-mole with it for years to come, even if we develop a vaccine for it. Those social safety nets I spoke of earlier will therefore already be in place to lessen the impact on the economy and the people affected by any flare up in virus cases.
There is such a politician but...........

Disappointing that they term the homeless as ‘rough sleepers’.

In my opinion it infers they are rough and that they somehow choose to sleep on the street.
Close but the reason why they changed it to rough sleepers is to do with how homeless people are counted. They no longer count how many are homeless instead when they go round counting them as the new description implies they only count the ones Who are actually asleep They also don’t count them if they wake up whilst the council official checks to see if they are asleep.

Sounds like this disease is forcing the Tories to be civilised.
Torie’s!! civilized!!! It’s never been heard of ever.
