Albert Adomah tonight

Really can’t understand why he got pushed out of the boro, was much better than stuani and downing who regularly were played on the wing in front of him, an out and out winger.

He was certainly good enough for us in the premier league too, surely the traore transfer wasn’t dependent on him going the other way.

Great player for us loved watching him play....
Karanka forced him out 👎

We got rid because he often failed to track back and defend, which Karanka saw as the main priority for every position. He was publicly blamed for goals against us because of it.

He would have contributed more in terms of goals and assists than what Traore and Stuani managed that season (although Stuani was being played out of position in fairness).

I always go back to our opening game against Stoke. Negredo up front, Ramirez no10, Admoah and Downing out wide and De Roon alongside Clayton in midfield. If we'd have gone with that setup we'd have been fine.

And you call yourself asredastheycome ?
Err don't think so....

My choice, you of all people should know opinions differ. Note your post was liked by your alter ego BL.
My problem with Warnock is the fact we will have to start the whole thing off again next year when he leaves. We should have brought someone in this season who will lay foundations to build upon. So for that reason I would not have let him carry on. Shake his hand say thank you and then say........................NEXT.

Start this season with a tiny squad and a load of youngsters with anyone other than Warnock and we could easily get relegated....
For the final time I am not BL, admin have confirmed, it's getting tiresome now.

Was he pushed? Wasn't he used as a make weight for the Traore deal?

Some truth in that.
He was often left out of the team when AK first joined because AK asked him to play a role he'd not done before. AA later credited AK with making him a better player as he learned the role. Certainly under Mogga, he was used as the "out ball", left advanced up field so we could take advantage of his pace on the break. I suspect that was how he'd been used at previous clubs too.

He got a lot better at it, but still had lapses: their big falling out stemmed from a goal conceded against Derby.

I thought AA was ultimately treated harshly though; I think it was Higgy who came out and said that AK would bear grudges following bust ups.
