Akpom kick.

Love the way their commentators were saying that Neil Warnock was going mad about a simliar sort of challenge against us. What they forgot to mention was a) Fry had to go off and missed other games, b) the challenge on Fry wasn’t even given as a foul, c) it was in the box so should have been a penalty. Anyway, don’t let the facts get in the way of a winge against Neil Warnock.

Very noticeable that opposition commentators often spend half the match whinging about Warnock whinging.

And no card.

After listening to the Coventry commentators and the Reading ones, isn't it a pleasure to hear our commentators. Ours may have their faults but they are in relative terms - full of life and passionate about what they do.

I was thinking exactly that last night...

Steve Ogrizovic and his mate were awful, the same against Reading, both sets of commentators didn’t have a clue who our players were...... We had Balotelli in goal at one point last night 🤣

It’s strange some sets of commentators are so biased where the odd game you will get some quite honest commentary.
The kick he wasn’t even looking he was well entitled to do what he did - I thought it was a harsh yellow.

Agree not a yellow, it was arguable the Coventry player put himself in danger, anybody could see what Akpom was going to do.

Completely different to the Fry incident.

The Derby commentators were the worst I wanted to put my foot through the telly at one point. I thought last night they were pretty fair though it showed our pair in a good light as they at least make an effort to learn the oppo players' names.

I’ve turned the commentary off on a couple of the away games (Derby and last night).

Me too. They were particularly lacking in knowledge of our players last night. i listened without commentary for the second half.

Didn't really mind their commentators last night, bar the moaning about Warnock.

I've not really had many issues with any of them except for the horrific Derby ones, the Luton commentary was excellent.

Akpom was practically on the floor when he kicked, their man stooped in to head it. I've got no problem with the yellow, but it wasn't a red if that's what their commentators were complaining for

I think they were complaining about Warnock complaining about a yellow, particularly as the Fry perpetrator got nothing.

Daniel Fry, Was it ...such and so.... mixing up Spence and Dijsteel.... werent they very excitable when the ball went into boro half.... peeeing themselves when near the 18 yard box....

I didnt think they were too bad last night.
Coventry fans have gone through an awful recent history and are lucky to still have a club. They came up and are likely to get relegated and lose most of their games so I don't think you can begrudge them being excited when they think they have a chance of a goal.

I agree the derby ones were absolutely horrific. I wonder how derby fans receive them. Does their blatant bias rub off on their fans and they see everything against them as a foul etc or can they see how ridiculous they were?

Remember when Big Mal used to call Ravanelli Rivelino.

I liked the way they were worried about our threat and strong bench. They were more confident than I was!

Johnson, tav, bolasie, kebano, bola... all first thought is to get past their man and are very capable of doing it.
We've not fully clicked yet but I can see why teams look at us now and worry about our attack. I don't remember us having such good options since the golden era in the Premier league.
It's not that surprising we are amongst the top scorers in the league even with our strikers.
This squad all season with a better keeper and striker and I think we'd be comfortably 3rd in this league.
