Catholicism alone is no guarantee of footballing aptitude.I think he signed him because he was a left footer.
Presumably we didn't realise he had two?I think he signed him because he was a left footer
He's got two left feet?Presumably we didn't realise he had two?
He was a fantastic bull-shipper and pub story - teller.Chuba’s always been a good lad. Mature character and have lots of respect for him for leaving a massive club to go and play and test himself in weird leagues.
Most players who don’t make the grade from top teams don’t do that, they drop down the leagues with Hollywood attitudes.
Again it was Warnock who signed him, said he was his top target, then barely played him and bombed him out. And people still maintain he was a fantastic man manager.
To be balanced Paddy should of got a red and dik played their man in on goal which in just about every other game this season we have been punished for.Laughing.
We played with a lot more confidence than over the last month.
We were better organised - Paddy and Dael made the back feel a lot safer and Hackney did well. We pressed and made more chances than more recently.
The lads werent under the cosh and, given the circumstances we played quite well.
After the hammering we have had over the last 11 games - we got a rare clean sheet and the team played with some fluency. I thought we did well in the circumstances.
Winning three out of 12 on 13 points is relegation material. To be balanced Paddy should of got a red and dik played their man in on goal which in just about every other game this season we have been punished for.
Also it was Birmingham at home which is one of probably in the top 6 of winnable games in the championship this season
I want to see us play the way which gets the most out of the squad, and which should end up getting the best performances and best results. We played practically exactly the same as with Wilder, which is fine, as Leo only had a couple of days and our squad suits 3-5-2 best, albeit midfield is a problem. What!?!?!
Well he works just fine in the football I want to see us play. You know the one where defenders defend and don't go waltzing off up the pitch leaving us totally exposed at the back. Birmingham nil, I'll say no more except if Leo was aiming for a Karanka tribute act he nailed it.
I simply don't agree roofie. We did improve a bit after going ahead. Then reverted to the norm.
We were still poor at the back and Birmingham had a few chances from inside our box and either skied the shot or we blocked it.
The win was fine margins last night as it had been all season.
I really didn't see any improvement last night except bola played well, fry looked better as he wasn't asked to play out and muniz appreciated the company up top.
I do think the tactical subs were better than under Wilder though.
He probably didn't even realise we had him, or were getting him back, so paid no attention.
I don't see why it would be anything against him?Is this meant to be a point in Wilders favour?
That's not quite what I said, now is it? For the improvements, and there was only 4,there were some negative. Dijksteel was useless, though I accept he was playing an unfamiliar role. Mcnair should have been sent off and Birmingham had way more chances than either Sunderland or Rotherham.100% agree. Other than the 5 improvements you've listed there was no improvement.
