Advice needed re taking liquids on a plane

I'm off to Mallorca tomorrow and I'm flying for the first time in years.

I think I've got this right but just wanted reassurance.

So am I right in saying you can take regular sized cans of deodorant, shampoo etc if you store them in the suitcase which is going to be checked in, and it's only if you're taking them as hand luggage on the plane that they need to be no more than 100ml?

yes.

Only those going into your hand baggage need to be in sealed plastic bags.

I always wrap any liquids going into the suitcase in a plastic bag too (just a carrier bag), but that's due to them becoming damaged during the flight.

Enjoy your holiday 👍🏻
Good advice. Shampoo explosions are common in the hold.

For your hold luggage, just pack any size toiletries in your usual toiletry bag.

For your hand luggage you’re taking on board, 100ml max - and they have to be in a clear bag
Maximum of 10 items up to 100ml and they all have to fit in one plaggy bag. But that’s per person, so same again for every person travelling. I normally only have hand luggage, it’s surprising what you can get through.
