On one particular issue that might have been the case. Sometimes an opinion is a matter of fact. This is something Adi recognised and a few other posters could with understanding too.

Adi rarely backed down and admitted he was wrong, something I’m guilty of too, however he did on one or two occasions, myself more often. I miss his contributions and the opportunities to have reasonable debate that they presented.

Even if it seems to be getting a little personal, it rarely actually is.

If he does read. Come back, Adi. I’ve enjoyed my return after what was quite a long hiatus and there was no bloody threads about me mate!

Would that be the infamous clique that nobody is exactly sure who was in but generally seemed to be people who admin didn’t ban for telling bigots they were being bigots? 😂
 
This thread shows why ‘aldi’ won’t return anytime soon. A poster who hasn’t posted in what seems like at eternity spending 163 posts judging his contribution when he was here,

I'm fairly certain that a certain Redcar Councillor was Cox.

He was known for turning up at every event, doing the buffett (its not French), saying a few words then leaving.

The other one was an East Cleveland guy. Massive Boro fan though. Met him in Bucharest.
