Adam Clayton and Neil Warnock

Knew there was bad blood between them from when he sold him to Huddersfield when he was Leeds gaffer. Seen his celebration for Huddersfield below from years ago when he scored against Warnocks Leeds. Bet Clayton was gutted when Warnock rocked up here. I am glad he did though been the best thing to happen to the club for a while. UTB.

Was this the last time he scored a goal?

I didn't know about this. I very much doubt Warnock would hold a grudge.

Clats simply wasn't good enough anymore. Just look at him at Brum

The only suprising thing is Clayton scoring. Yet another goal scorer we ruined😂

Warncock does not hold grudges. On the under the cosh podcast, paddy kenny recalls how Warnock called him in a very excited manner when Blackwell got the sack from Leeds.

He has since taken him to Boro and Cardiff.

Warnock praised him when he left the club. Clayton had nothing bad to say on twitter to when the fans question him.

Clayton was a good pro here for many seasons, his legs just went a bit. If he was still in his prime Warnock would have kept and managed him without issue.

Had the privilige of seeing clayton miss a penalty at oldham in the cup, quite how he was picked to be the penalty taker is anyones guess

Yes that was very odd. He isn't exactly known as a good dead ball striker.

For a few games (was it under Monk?) it was pretty awful when he was our set piece taker. It was like he was lobbing in a penny floater.

I don't like clayton, bumped into him in Harrogate with my little one when he played for us. I came out of the shop as my young one said hi to him. He ignored her. She asked for a picture with him. Bearing in mind she was only 10. He just laughed and walked away. That's when I started. Told him where to go, and called him an arrogant pr*ck. He just kept walking.
