I'd quite like to see him as a season long lone from the Geordies. Knows the area, the championship and scored 16 in 46 last season for Blackburn. Or is he pants?

He would be a good singing as he is a very decent player at this level but it wouldn’t be a loan from Newcastle. He is permanently contracted to Blackburn

Before this season I was not convinced. Don't think his goals return was that great. Think he's had a much better season just gone and finished it well from what I remember.
Probably looking to build on that next year. He could be a very very good championship goal scorer

He scores some rather excellent goals I must say. Great technique on him. Would love to sign him but as Ben said above think he might be too much for us in today’s market. Shame
