3 mins injury time today when we are getting beat of course.
8 subs in 2nd half in a total of 5 different occasions so 2 1/2 mins there.
2 goals scored 1 minute there.
That’s without any other injuries/stoppages.
Is it a deliberate conspiracy by referees.
We are Guaranteed at least 6 mins on the rare occasions when we are winning.

To be fair we probably could have probably played all night and we wouldn’t have equalised but that isn’t the point.

It’s for the best
Gets the away fans on the road quickly to lick their wounds.

It's every week with us, last week was 2 mins haven't seen that since the seventies. Cardiff the week before their sub came on for the last 5 mins and laid down for 3 mins and the Ref gave 4 mins injury time.

I’ve long said that the added time scam needs resolving. There must be transparency. A simple solution is to display the added time on a scoreboard or if one is not available, announce how much time is being added with each stoppage in play e.g. at a substitution, the subs names are announced followed by an update on time accrued

It’s almost as if none of our players are playing the ref during the game….

This is the most naive team I’ve ever seen. No leaders on the pitch working the ref and squeezing points on the pitch.

Manager and coaches making the same mistakes and unable to influence a game via tactics, subs or pressure on the ref.

Made me laugh when in the 91st minute, Engel gives away a throw in and we stand back and let them waste a nearly minute before taking it. No one rushing to retrieve the ball, forcing into their hands, complaining to the ref.
That’s exactly what the side lacks, a toughness whereby they can play a bit but more than that they can mix it up and motivate and lead and get more out of the weaker minded players around them.

An even simpler solution is have a visible clock that is stopped by the referee for injuries, substitutes and goal celebrations. This is used in practically every other major sport, such as rugby.
